In this session, we are going to learn how to create a RAM in LogicWorks 4.
Once stored properly, it could be used like any other device in a Library.
(1)Select "Simulation" and "PROM/RAM/PLA Wizard" from the tool bar at the top.
(2)Select "RAM"
(3)Choose 12 bit address lines , 16 bit per word,
0 Chip Enable pin. Check Output Enable Pin box.
(4)Save the part as "ram01" in your Library.
(5)"ram01" is now available.
Note that Write Enable pin is our load and Outpur Enable pin
is our send respectively. Unlike standard RAM, there are two sets of 16 bit data pins,
Input data and Output data pins. This setup is suitable for our first processor, CAPC1.
